I was so freaking bored. Too many people I don't know, too many people that are family. I don't know. My cousins are definitely socialites. Apparently, I am "huggable" or something.   Sacron Wannabe
Exxon Mobil's Masterpiece Theatre was on KERA (PBS) today. Today's play was Boris Pasternak's Dr. Zhivago. If you didn't already know, it is a masterpiece. It really is, too. I actually found myself a little weepy nearing the end of the movie. The movie is four hours long. Yuri Zhivago was played by Hans Matheson, Victor Komarovsky was played by Sam Neill, and Keira Knightley played Lara Antipova. The play takes place in Russia during the Russian Revolution; the Revolution plays a major part in the movie. Keira Knightley reminds me a might of Natalie Portman. Of course, I was not too surprised to discover that Keira played Queen Amidala's double in The Phantom Menace. I am going to check and see if Dr. Zhivago is on the AP reading list because if it is, I am definitely going to purchase it and read it. Even if it is not, I will most likely purchase it and read it. Everytime I say "Dr. Zhivago" I find myself pronouncing it in a British accent, "Doc-tor She-va-go." or "-goo," depending on how fast I say it. In any case, chewing this gum is really giving me a headache.   ¶ 20:30

 
An insertion of witticism would do me some good right about now. I am in one of those moods again...nothing can sustain me. No convenience of television, no beautiful computer, no sleep, no nothing. I think I'm in the mood to sit on my ass and pretend to meditate. That is, if I can sit still for long enough. Even this music is driving me through the ground. Damn you U2. You know it's a quality song when you can listen to it in any mood and be content. I love The Weakness in Me. I love Everybody Hurts. I love these. Perhaps because I feel like being depressed right now. Some chemicals went off in my brain just a while past; every once in a while, I must drag myself down. It's not too difficult to drag myself down. In these moods, my brain just needs a little down time. I can feel a breakdown coming on. Damn it, shut the fuck up you blithering idiot.

I complained about me being so bitchy all of the time, but I look back, and I don't see my thoughts as childish, I see them as plausible. I still feel the same. A sign that I'm not maturing? Possibly. But at least my bitching has been meaningful to me. After all, in a journal, that is all that matters. Because as a journal-writer, I have aspired to tell only the truth. And it has always been the truth. And it makes me feel happy and glad that I was decent enough to not lie to myself. For the most part.   ¶ 00:55
